The Trustees are pleased to welcome Dr Layla Malt to the Imperial Tobacco Pension Fund Trustee as a Member Nominated Trustee for the Employee population of the Fund, replacing Ross Parker who left in 2025.
Layla joined the company in 2017 and now leads the Scientific Affairs and Behavioural Sciences function within the Harm Reduction and Engagement Department. She oversees a team that informs the business on emerging scientific developments and generates the behavioural science evidence to substantiate the tobacco harm reduction potential of Imperial Brands’ next generation products.
Layla was appointed to the Board from 1 March 2026 following a rigorous selection process and brings a wealth of skills to the role, including evidence-based decision making, complex data analysis and objective critical thinking.
The Trustees want to thank all the colleagues who applied for the role and are looking forward to working with Layla as the Fund moves forward into the future.
